Flip’n Art!
We are proud to announce the first Flip’N Art Fest this weekend starting Friday night March 22nd with live music, food, and drink. Bringing together over 50 local Austin artists in 7000 square feet in the Hill Country Galleria, this event is the culmination of years of hard work and realizing there wasn’t enough support for local Artists in our great city. Flip’N Art was created by Chacasso and Micah, a passionate and dynamic artist couple in Austin. While selling their work on South Congress they sadly realized that most of the people they met had never owned original art and created a business model to fill the gap. Doing art different is our motto and our pricing is on a sliding scale, this opens art up to all budgets and allows people to name their price. In addition to hosting local artists we also offer classes, hosted by the artists.
Every Saturday our resident artist Everly teaches a style called acrylic pouring at 11:30 and 3pm. Coming soon are watercolor, sketching, acrylic classes, pottery and more. Be sure to check out Chacasso’s Gallery and Design Studio when you come. He has painted and sold over 750 original paintings in the last few years and raised 100% of the start up capital with his art sales alone. He is quickly becoming Austin’s most collectable artists and is one of the best you will find at bringing your ideas to life. Specializing in custom commissions, he can paint anything into a masterpiece. From pets to landscapes to abstracts.
Flip’N Art, it’s what we do and we look forward to welcoming you into our space this weekend. First 100 people through the door receive a free gift. We are located in the beautiful Hill Country Galleria Mall, right across from H & M. The event is from Friday night till Sunday night March 22nd- March 24th and is free to the public, child and pet friendly.
