Single Dad in the ATX? No Prob!
Many of you can relate with my situation as a single parent. So, what do you do about it in a city so vibrant such as Austin? Improvise!
If you‘re the adventurous but responsible type, you then find yourself a good babysitter. But, what happens when you have no one to watch your kid with family or friends out of town? You turn to a daycare of course.
With that said, I would highly recommend Kid Spa In Circle C, south Austin. With a 4.7 star rating they make it very affordable and convenient to drop off your child for a few hours while you drive (or walk) across the street to grab a bite at a local favorite NX-NW restaurant and then a movie at Alamo Drafthouse (Slaughter Ln.)

So, what’s your next option? Well, since you’re already down south why not go to the greenbelt waterhole! It’s hot summer days like these that bring back the sense of adventure you once had before becoming a parent. Of course, on the way back to picking up your little one why not stop by Torchy’s Tacos (West William Cannon Drive) for a quick bite? Just a few hours to yourself and satisfaction for the day and have you back to parenting the modern way in ATX.
