The Domain Welcomes a Food Truck Trailer Park!
The Domain, having already become one of Austin’s Signature Destination Spots, has added another notch to its belt. Beginning this past weekend, Dick’s Sporting Good’s Parking Lot will host a food truck park with 7 different food trucks. The hope is to establish permanency at The Domain.

As food trucks will differ month-to-month, this means a plethora of different food trucks as well that will occupy the lot. Three B’s Tacos, SXSE Food Co, Rosarito, Aurora, Shawarma Point and Cutie Pies are some of the already growing number of confirmed food trucks.

Owners of ATX Food Truck Festival, Glenn Williams and David Poku, are to thank for this move. In an article with KVUE, David stated – ”Austin’s known for live music. But let’s be honest, if Austin didn’t have that title, it’d be a food truck capital for sure,” said David Poku, a co-owner of ATX Food Truck Festival. “There will be that atmosphere, or come chill, eat, drink, have fun.”
“This would not be made possible without the incredible mall management team in conjunction with the strong support of Macys & Dicks Sporting goods” says David.
Having attended several ATX Food Truck Festivals, I can personally attest to some of the magic that these two create when they come together. The only question is will this include things like human-size Djenga? Corn Hole? Badminton?
